Plot Summary:Howard personally delivered food and supplies to Chuck, taking meticulous care of this important asset of the law firm. Chuck casually asked about Jimmy, and Howard, unable to hide it, told him that Jimmy was working at Davis & Main, specifically in charge of liaising with the elderly residents of Sandpiper Crossing. Chuck's expression visibly changed. After a few perfunctory words, Howard quickly excused himself. Howard rushed back to the company to hear the routine reports from the two law firms. In the conference room, Kim sat next to Jimmy, diligently taking notes, while playfully nudging Jimmy's leg. After the meeting, the two hid in the underground parking lot, smoking. Hearing that Jimmy was happy with his job, with a car and apartment provided by the firm, Kim was pleased that Jimmy hadn't wasted her efforts. They even fantasized about buying their own apartment between Santa Fe and Albuquerque and living a happy life. As Jimmy's life gradually got back on track, Old Mike ran into a headache. One day, Daniel urgently drove his Hummer into the police station's parking lot, which was seen by Old Mike on duty at the guard booth. Old Mike immediately realized Daniel had been duped; the police weren't interested in recovering the stolen baseball cards, but rather in investigating Daniel. Old Mike had no choice but to agree to help Daniel retrieve the baseball cards, telling Daniel to hurry home. The person who stole the drugs and baseball cards must have been Nacho. Old Mike found him and explained the situation. Daniel was foolish enough to report the baseball cards stolen to the police, and no one could guarantee he wouldn't spill everything once he was inside the station. To save all three of their lives, Old Mike proposed that Nacho return the baseball cards and compensate with ten thousand dollars in cash. Of course, Nacho wouldn't lose out; Daniel's car would be his, and he'd profit no matter who he sold it to. This way, it was a win-win-win: Daniel got his baseball cards back, Old Mike received ten thousand dollars, and Nacho made a small profit. Most importantly, that flashy Hummer was off the streets. With the important matters dealt with, only one thorny issue remained: how to clear the police's suspicion of Daniel. Old Mike thought of Jimmy. Jimmy accompanied Daniel to the police station interrogation room, watching the detective's friendly demeanor as he tried to get close to him. Before Daniel walked into the trap, Jimmy sent him out of the room and explained to the detective himself. Jimmy bluntly pointed out that all the detective wanted to know was what was hidden behind the sofa baseboard. Seeing Jimmy's directness, the detective no longer concealed his intentions, pointing out that Daniel had been sweating nervously, earning a modest salary yet driving a luxury Hummer, all of which indicated Daniel was stealing company drugs and selling them illegally. Jimmy immediately denied the police's speculation, then mysteriously revealed the “truth.” Daniel was providing private services for an unnamed wealthy individual, filming some very special videos, such as wiggling his butt back and forth on a pie while wearing a specific outfit. This was why Daniel lived in a bungalow but could drive a luxury car. The subsequent theft of the baseball cards and the videotape hidden behind the baseboard was merely a disagreement with the wealthy individual. It was like a lovers' quarrel, a temporary spat, and now they were reconciled, with all items returned. Perhaps Jimmy's story sounded far-fetched, but the world is full of strange things, and the police believed his outlandish tale, dropping the investigation into Daniel. To be safe, Jimmy also had to film a video of Daniel wiggling in a pie, even giving the move a name: “Squat Pie.” That evening, Jimmy and Kim laughed about the incident while eating the leftover pies from the video shoot. When the filming of the video was mentioned, Kim, who had been smiling, suddenly became serious. Describing unverified situations to the police was one thing, but filming a video to fabricate evidence was another; if Davis & Main found out, Jimmy would be kicked out. Kim wanted to know why Jimmy would do such a thing. Jimmy fell silent; what happened between him and Old Mike could never be known by others. Seeing Jimmy's expression, Kim didn't press further, only asking him to promise not to do such foolish things again in the future. Jimmy agreed, but who knew if he could keep his word.
