Plot Summary:Jimmy sits nervously in Nacho's luxuriously decorated Lincoln, the gilded speakers on both sides of the back seat blaring, unsure of what these drug dealers want. Nacho's car pulls into a repair shop, the driver and others wisely leaving, and the rolling door descends. Only Nacho, Jimmy, and the seemingly friendly but actually treacherous Lalo remain. At first, Jimmy thinks it's about his past conflict with Nacho. Then, he hears that Lalo is Tuco's cousin and cleverly praises Tuco. Finally, Lalo says it's a legal matter, and Jimmy calms down. Domingo is currently held at a detention center awaiting trial, and Lalo's intention is for Domingo to reveal some information to the police. As for what, Jimmy, as a lawyer, is to clarify it with Domingo in the detention center. Frankly, Jimmy doesn't want to get involved in this mess, so he casually quotes a high price of $7925. Lalo says nothing, pulls out eight thousand, and shoves it into Jimmy's hand. Jimmy drives home and hears a whistle from above – Kim is on the balcony drinking beer. Kim is a bit uneasy; she has a dozen pro bono cases tomorrow. Jimmy doesn't complain; he understands Kim. It's Kim's wish to provide free legal services to poor families, and although it will reduce their income, Jimmy still supports her. Anyway, Saul Goodman earned eight thousand today, filling the gap. The next day, Jimmy goes to the detention center early to meet Domingo as his lawyer. He pulls out a stack of papers from his briefcase, containing the information he devised last night, which Domingo must memorize. Jimmy then waits outside the detention center. About half an hour later, a DEA car pulls up. Agents Hank and Steve get out, greet the front desk, and smoothly complete the procedures before entering the meeting room. It's good that the drug dealer Domingo is willing to provide information. But as soon as Domingo opens his mouth, lawyer Saul rushes into the meeting room, blocking him. Hank and Steve are old hands; they've seen this routine too many times. With a lawyer present, there will be negotiations for an immunity agreement, and even if the information eventually proves false, they can't do anything to the drug dealer. Seeing Hank and Steve getting up to leave, Jimmy quickly proposes a condition: the agreement's fulfillment can be conditional. That is, the immunity agreement will only be honored if the information is accurate and relevant suspects are apprehended. Additionally, to eliminate suspicion of Domingo leaking information to the police, the DEA should cooperate with Jimmy to go through the motions in court, making it seem as if the lawyer secured Domingo's acquittal. Furthermore, Domingo can continue to provide information only to Hank and Steve in the future. If he encounters any problems, he can call Jimmy, who will then contact Hank and Steve to resolve them. Jimmy's conditions are reasonable, and Hank and Steve agree, not realizing they've fallen into Jimmy's trap. Domingo then reveals that drug money is transferred through three drop-off points every Thursday, detailing their addresses. After arranging all this, Jimmy reports back to Lalo and Nacho. Lalo's original plan was for Domingo to reveal Gustavo's three drop-off points, causing Gustavo to lose a large sum of money. But Jimmy's plan is more comprehensive; it not only avoids the danger of Domingo being retaliated against but also allows him to feed information to the DEA according to Lalo's wishes at any time. Lalo is very satisfied and decides to entrust all future legal matters to Jimmy. Jimmy secretly curses, perhaps as Nacho said, once on this path, there's no turning back. Nacho is no different; after gaining Lalo's trust, he has a big house, a luxury car, and beautiful women. Considering his father's safety, he wants to buy his father's tire shop at a high price through others. His father, displeased with Nacho's actions, sees through his scheme and refuses to sell. Now Nacho is playing both sides. This time, Gustavo, to protect him as a pawn, did not cancel the transactions at the three drop-off points, but who knows what the future holds. Today, Kim returns very late. Jimmy, holding a bottle of beer, whistles at Kim as she gets out of the car on the balcony. Kim looks dejected, goes upstairs, also grabs a beer, and stands on the balcony. She had a terrible day. Her partner Rich called, and Kevin from Mesa Verde Bank specifically asked Kim to handle a holdout at the new branch construction site. The old man named Ack has lived there since 1974. According to the deed, he has no land ownership but signed a hundred-year lease with the property company. The agreement also contains a clause allowing the property company to buy out the lease for five thousand dollars. Kim knows that five thousand dollars from over 40 years ago is not comparable to five thousand dollars today, so Mesa Verde Bank is willing to increase it to eighteen thousand dollars. But the old man still refuses to move, unwilling to leave his home. Kim has no choice but to sternly give the old man an ultimatum in front of her colleagues: if he doesn't move by tomorrow, the compensation will drop to ten thousand, and if he still doesn't leave, the police will be notified for forced eviction. This is not what Kim wants to see, so she spends some time contacting the property company, finding several affordable and pleasant houses for the old man. As night falls, the construction workers go home. Kim knocks on old man Ack's door again, presenting the property information. She also talks about her childhood without a fixed home, moving around with her mother. However, her kindness is taken by the old man as a fabricated story to achieve her goals. Kim is heartbroken; her sincerity is perceived as deceit. Thinking of this, Kim feels resentment, picks up the beer bottle in her hand, and smashes it towards the parking lot downstairs. Jimmy, equally resentful, also smashes his beer bottle down. After a few sounds of shattering glass, some nearby neighbors turn on their lights to check. Jimmy and Kim exchange a knowing smile, then quickly turn and duck back inside.
