Plot Summary: Gustavo's men fake a shooting and car accident on the highway, and Nacho can only watch as Ximena's body is riddled with bullets, unable to say a word. Finally, he has to sit in the passenger seat and take two shots, cooperating with their act. When Salamanca's men arrive after receiving a 'distress call', seeing the car debris and heavily injured Nacho, they don't see any flaws. Meanwhile, in a diner on the other end of the highway, Jim promises Old Mike that they will each get four thousand dollars if they steal the figurine. Jim even buys a cheap replica for this purpose to reduce the risk of detection. Stealing an inconspicuous figurine from an unguarded office would be easy for Old Mike, but he doesn't want this readily available money. He wants to spend more time with his granddaughter and avoid any unnecessary risks. Jim can only find people through a vet intermediary and finally finds someone willing to do the job. As soon as he leaves the vet clinic, Salamanca's men take the vet away to save Nacho, who is bleeding profusely. In the back of a makeshift auto repair shop, Nacho's life is finally saved. However, the bullet stuck in his shoulder cannot be removed, which will trigger metal detectors as a side effect. This 'attack' has shaken Juan. Before identifying the attackers, he orders Gustavo to suspend the US-Mexico border transport line. The resulting problem is insufficient inventory, and his hasty decision leads Gustavo to find a supplier within the United States. This is a grave offense to Mr. Eladio, and Gustavo agrees verbally, then hangs up the phone with a cold smile. Gustavo puts the phone in his pocket, pushes open the glass door, and walks into the university laboratory building. He is there to see chemistry professor Gale, whom he had previously entrusted to test the purity of some samples, one of which was significantly purer than the others. In fact, Gale can extract a higher purity heroin solution, but Gustavo is saving Gale for a bigger purpose and won't put him at risk for such a small matter. Jimmy is also very busy today. She finds a new assistant, Viola, and goes to Mesa Verde Trust Bank to draft a contract for the target bank acquisition. Due to their previous good working relationship, Kevin, one of the bank executives, warmly welcomes Jimmy. Kevin also takes Jimmy on a tour of the bank models that will be opened in various states, all of which are due to Jimmy's efforts. Unfortunately, a car accident causes Jimmy to hand over such a large business to Howard. Kevin had intended to use these models to motivate Jimmy's work enthusiasm, but it backfired, igniting Jimmy's fighting spirit instead. Reluctantly, she leaves the contract drafting to Viola and heads to the courthouse. Late at night, the door to the copy shop is pried open. But Jim never would have thought that the manager, who had offended his wife by buying an unsatisfactory gift, would be sleeping in the office tonight. As soon as the thief swaps the figurine, he hears the manager coming out of the restroom and quickly dives under the table. The thief has no choice but to call Jim for help when the manager goes out to get takeout. Jim quietly sneaks out of bed, trying not to wake the sleeping Jimmy next to him. When he gets to the copy shop, he first triggers the car alarm, but the manager solves the problem by pressing the car key at the door. Jim can only resort to old tricks, using a wire to open the car door and release the handbrake, finally distracting the manager. After last night's ordeal, Jim sleeps until almost noon. Jimmy has checked the contract drafted by Viola, and apart from a few places where the wording needs to be changed, it is generally good. After seeing Viola off, Jimmy looks at Jim, who is eating breakfast and looking for a job in the newspaper, wondering whether he should bring out Charles's letter. After thinking about it, Jimmy still takes out all the documents provided by Howard. Jim first glances at the execution agreement, signs his name, and receives the five thousand dollar inheritance. Jimmy hesitates to hand over the letter, really not wanting to see Jim's reaction, and is about to leave but is stopped. Jim chews his cereal, mumbling his brother's letter. It seems Charles did affirm Jim's progress before his death, and Jimmy listens with tears streaming down her face, unable to control herself. Jim also doesn't understand why such an unremarkable letter would make her so emotional.
