Plot Summary:Mike Ehrmantraut currently has over two hundred thousand dollars, and he invests all of it into Madrigal Electromotive. He uses an alias: Mike. To avoid suspicion, Ehrmantraut also applies for a job at Madrigal Electromotive as a logistics consultant, doing some logistics consulting work. A large portion of Ehrmantraut's money comes from drug trafficking, and now that he has invested all of it into Madrigal, he will take it out again after twenty weeks, giving his money a legitimate source of income. He no longer has to constantly look for places to hide his money like before. Chuck has been a practicing lawyer, but his physical condition has been very poor in recent years. Howard suggests that Chuck simply keep his name on the firm and also go to a university as an honorary professor, which would allow Chuck to receive a considerable retainer. However, Chuck refuses; he excitedly raises the lamp by his side, saying he is fine, but Howard knows that truly fine people wouldn't be so restrained. Chuck doesn't listen to advice and is very angry at Howard's suggestion.
