Plot Summary:The episode opens with a flashback to the time when Chuck first fell ill. The brothers renovate their home and cut off all electricity. That evening, Jimmy brings Rebecca over. Chuck cooks at home while pretending to the guest that the power is out. Jimmy suggests dining out, but Chuck insists the meal is nearly ready and proposes eating at home instead, lighting many candles for a romantic atmosphere—Rebecca agrees. During dinner, Chuck and Rebecca discuss their recent lives. When Rebecca’s phone rings, she walks around the room answering it, which deeply unsettles Chuck. He cannot approach someone on the phone; doing so causes him severe discomfort. Jimmy had hoped to bring Chuck and Rebecca closer, so he considered revealing Chuck’s condition to her, but Chuck firmly forbids it. Returning to the main storyline, Kim has just helped Jimmy complete a legal case, yet she remains unhappy. Ever since learning about Chuck’s malicious accusation against Jimmy, she has been burdened by guilt. Chuck accused Jimmy of altering a company’s data without authorization. Kim proactively informed the company of the situation in an attempt to gain forgiveness—though in reality, the accusation was not as serious as claimed. Meanwhile, Chuck prepares to testify in court, aiming not merely for a minor punishment but to have Jimmy’s law license revoked. Even though this would cost Chuck a major client, he claims he is willing to sacrifice anything for the public good.
