Plot Summary： Parking attendant Mike is subpoenaed by the Philadelphia police, requesting Gil as his defense lawyer. He devises a plan to steal the police logbook, uncovering the truth behind the ambush nine months prior that killed his son Matt (a police officer) and his partners Hoffman and Fensky. The records reveal Matt was murdered for refusing to participate in police corruption (gang protection money). Three months earlier, Mike coincidentally encounters Hoffman and Fensky at a bar, feigning drunkenness to accuse them of murder, then kills the officers who attempt to fake his suicide. The cash Matt hid was actually seized drug money; he refused to be corrupt but was betrayed by his colleagues for his intention to report them. Mike finally confesses to his daughter-in-law: systemic police corruption led to Matt's death, and he avenged his son.
