Plot Summary:Chuck overcomes his fear of sunlight to help Jimmy win an arbitration against Sandpiper Crossing, but the opposing side retaliates by sending numerous medical reports from elderly clients who cannot testify. Chuck suggests seeking help from Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill, as the case has grown beyond their capabilities. Late at night, Chuck, wrapped in a space blanket, dials Hamlin with a pencil. The entire firm welcomes him by cutting off power, but they ignore Jimmy. Hamlin is enthusiastic to take on the case, offering Jimmy a 20% cut of the settlement, but refuses to let him rejoin the firm, even stating he'd "rather drop the case than take Jimmy back." Kim's plea for Jimmy is unsuccessful, and she is later reprimanded by a drunken Jimmy. Jimmy ultimately accepts the settlement terms but discovers that Chuck secretly contacted Hamlin using his phone and deleted the call history. Chuck confesses his disdain for Jimmy's "easy acquisition of a law license," and Jimmy, leaving the food he bought for Chuck, departs despondently.
